STITHIANS CENTRE OPENING DAY AND ST. PIRAN'S DAY EVENT

Doctor an Councillor Monica Biscoe enjoy a cup of tea, in the Village Hall section. Monica did a lot of early work obtaining grants and legal permissions for the New Centre over a long 4 year period.

Stithians Village Hall and Community Centre Management Committee would like to express their thanks to Rosie and Tony Turner for their hard work in getting the new library up and running. Rosie who with a colleague, acquired and sorted the books, and Tony who put up extra shelving to accommodate them. It is understood that the library has approaching 100 members and rising. Tickets can be purchased from the Library staff, and cost only £1 a year.

The library is open on Mondays  from 2pm until 4pm, Thursdays from 9am until 12noon and Saturdays from 10am until 12noom. Watch this space , as it is hoped to add further opening times.
